If you need help finding your System i’s OS version, number of LPARs, System serial number, etcetera, Centerfield Technology’s System i "Display License Information" command will make it easy for you. Enter XCENTER60/DSPLICINF (Display License Information) on a System i command line and the output to the screen will be a number of system unique values for your System i. The values displayed are: System serial number, Processor group, Model type, Model number, Feature code, OS Version, & LPAR number.
