Below is the patch information for our insure/MONITOR customers on version 4.6.005.

Symptoms:
  • User may see repeated messages MCH6902 - "The requested heap space operation is invalid." followed by C2M1212 "The pointer parameter passed to free or realloc is not valid." in the joblogs of XCCLIENT job servicing insure/MONITOR requests or XCMONHST job collecting historical archiving data. Another side-effect may be erroneous temporary storage reporting in insure/MONITOR.
  • While refreshing insure/MONITOR jobs window, error message “Error Code Parameter Not Valid” pops up in the GUI client and the associated iSeries joblog for XCCLIENT job shows the same error with message id CPF3CF1 severity 40.
  • FTP job not showing up in insure/MONITOR unless it's in a SELW state.
  • When collecting audit data via the insure/MONITOR product, the SQL statement that is captured may not be correct in the XCMONHST file.
  • “Data mapping error” message located in XCMONHST joblog.
An error message occurs when trying to FTP a file from one system to another. The error message indicates that FTP connection was rejected.
Insure/MONITOR for OneWorld is not correlating the ODBC jobs to the respective OneWorld (Citrix) user profiles when Citrix box is running on Windows 2003 server. This can happen after the upgrade of the existing Windows servers or upon a fresh install on 2003 server box.
While visually explaining an SQL query inside SQL Optimizer feature of insure/MONITOR, user may be confronted with a pop-up displaying this message: "Access violation at address 004225F5 in module 'monitor.exe'. Read of address 34310000."
Following this error message, insure/MONITOR executable may get progressively sluggish to the point where its process has to be ended via windows Task Manager function.
This patch addresses an issue with Historical data archiving - dealing with the Configure Monitor History command - CFGMONHST COLLECT(*NO) processing. It’ll manifest itself by not preserving the *NO setting, i.e. historical monitor data will continue to be collected.
Symptom: All client/server jobs are not showing up in the insure/MONITOR graphical interface. Other symptoms include messages in joblogs (e.g. QZDASOINIT jobs) that say the insure/MONITOR user space is full and the job will not be tracked and errors from a CHGJOB command.
This patch is for users using historical archiving feature of insure/MONITOR product (CFGMONHST command) we provide an option to define individual job filter via CHGJOBCFG command. If a user defines multiple job filters with job names 10 characters in length, CHGJOBCFG prompt override program would function check with CPD0074 diagnostic message, not populating the prompted CHGJOBCFG command with the existing values from our job configuration file. Message CPD0074 may be followed by MCH0601 error if user hits Enter upon the original diagnostic message instead of F12 to cancel. Command processing program behind CHGJOBCFG is XCJBCFGPOP and this fix will update this program.
